El Pueblecillo
A luxury rural estate in the heart of Andalucía, situated on the old trading route from Antequera to Ronda, at only a ten minutes drive from the picturesque whitewashed village of Casarabonela. This rural finca has been tastefully rebuild by its British owners, to offer all modern comforts whilst retaining the charm of the old rural dwelling in this beautiful unspoilt countryside.

Here you will experience the real Spain in a comfortable setting.

Although only half an hour drive to several lovely unspoilt beaches of the Mediterranean coast and slightly more to Malaga airport, this is pure inland Andalucía. The hilly landscape offers lovely views over the lush valleys at the backdrop of the Ronda mountains. Set in 30 acres of its own land, your privacy is guaranteed.

From the magnificent pool area you have great views to all sides. The area around the pool (10m x 6 m) is carefully landscaped. It has plenty of sun beds and an outdoor shower.

The covered patio at the pool terrace offers pleasant shade for the warmer days. Apart from the barbecue it also has a sink and working surface.

There is a table tennis table and a trampoline for those looking for some action – for those preferring a more relaxed activity there is a boule pitch.

Closer to the house, next to one of the lovely covered patio’s, is another barbecue.

This patio is a great place too for al fresco dinners, with its large wooden dining table, easily seating twelve.

Everywhere in and around the house you will find cosy places to cuddle up and read a book, or to have a lovely time just lounging around and enjoying the wonderful views.

The double height living room has an enormous feel of space, yet it is a pleasant and cosy place to be. It has a music system.

In case you prefer not to self cater, no problem, the village offers plenty of restaurants.

For something a little more sophisticated, at the end of the track to the Finca there is a good restaurant with delicious food. It also has a swimming pool for the use of clients which is great for keeping children entertained during long Spanish lunches.

The romantic master bedroom is extremely spacious, which is accentuated by the large doors opening to the terrace in front.

This room offers a large double bed, and is stylishly furnished.

The house has six bedrooms in total, and four bathrooms.

All  bedrooms have really comfortable beds, good bed linen and all bedrooms have ceiling fans.

Next to the living troom the snug room is situated, with SKY satellite TV, DVD player and a collection of DVD’s, plenty of children’s games and lots of books.

It has it’s own sitting room with a comfortable couch, and an open plan kitchen.

The kitchen offers a cooker, hob, fridge, and even a washing machine.

Location:

El Pueblecillo is is situated 2 miles down a secluded rural track at a fifteen minutes drive from the village of Casarabonela. Generally any regular rental car is fine but sometimes in the winter it may be recommended to hire a 4x4, please ask our advice. It is a 40 minutes drive to Malaga airport.

Casarabonela is a whitewashed village that retains all the charm of a traditional Moorish village. You can find all that you need in the shops in Casarabonela, fresh vegetables, meat, fish, bread, as well as a chemist and a couple of banks and plenty of places to eat tapas and good local food. Surrounding area:

Several totally unspoilt beaches are approximately half an hour drive, in the Malaga area. You will find many fantastic beachside fish restaurants to choose from.

Also the old town of Malaga is really worthwhile. The covered market and the Picasso museum are wonderful.
If you like to visit Marbella or Puerto Banus: those are less than an hour drive. Definitely go to see a show of flamenco dance and music on a late summer evening.

There are a number of golf courses on the coast. Two are within 40 mins, Lauro Golf and Alhaurin Golf, both near Alhaurin el Grande. many other activities are at hand, like walking, riding, swimming, canoeing, aquaparks or quad biking.		 EL PUEBLECILLO half an hour from Malaga
You can easily make visits to the famous city of Ronda, or to other Pueblos Blancos (white villages) nearby and have a taste of the cultural heritage of the area.

The dramatically positioned town of Ronda on the Tajo gorge is an hour drive. It enjoys magnificent views over the wild mountains of the Serrania de Ronda, the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park and Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park.

The extensive Natural Parks in the area vary from lovely valleys to rough rocky mountains, just now and then dotted with some picturesque white villages. Lovely are the Lakes of El Chorro, only half an hour drive. Antequera is at an hour drive, here also El Torcal Natural Park is situated.
