El Ventorillo offers an utterly comfortable and superbly elegant country home, yet this is not the main reason why you wish to stay here.

The secret of this estate is the stunning location. The house is set in wonderful grounds, the buildings surrounded by lovely colourful gardens and then by miles of dehesa - Andalucía’s typical wonderful countryside. Hiking starts from your own grounds, nature all around, and yet you are close to lovely Ronda.

The estate exudes quality and character. It clearly shows that this exclusive estate is owned by an interior designer. Her creativity and taste are apparent everywhere. She has changed this estate into an enchanting home.

Within its walled grounds, a wide driveway leads up through the trees to three independent houses, all a stone throw away from each other. The houses are rented out only all together in high season.

In other periods either the Main House or Las Encinas can be rented separately. In that case the other house will not be rented out.

La Casita can be rented in addition to the main house or Las Encinas.

The estate is ideal for a large group of family or friends, who like to have both their independent space and togetherness at the same time.

Both El Ventorillo Main House and Las Encinas have three double bedrooms; La Casita is a cottage with only one bedroom.

The gardens in front of the main house are separated from the pool area by a high wall.

The enormous swimming pool has a shallow and a deep end. The pool area is furnished with plenty of sun loungers with side tables and sunshades.

From here the views go over oak forest, parkland and olive groves in every direction.

El Ventorillo’s main house is furnished to the highest standards. The bright and airy open plan living-dining room has comfortable sofas and chairs, and is decorated with plenty of antiques and original paintings.

There is a music system, including iPod docking station, however in keeping with the atmosphere of the place there is no TV.

The dining area that seats six occupies one end of the room. It can be extended to seat fourteen.

The terrace has a cushioned bench and cane seating at one end, further along, wooden armchairs and a cane sofa are gathered around a Moroccan coffee table.

At the far end, easily accessed from the kitchen, the dining table comfortably seats fourteen. A perfect place for al fresco dining.

A supplementary table can be added for more guests.

This is a lovely place during the day, but also at night when the candles which line the terrace and the lighting in the gardens are lit.

Lawned grounds at the front of the house lead to the pool area.

At the pool area you will also find a dining table.

A hallway from the living room leads to the fully equipped kitchen.

Spacious and attractive, you will enjoy cooking in here.

French windows open to the dining terrace outside.

At the end of the corridor, down three steps, is the utterly romantic and stylish master bedroom suite.

It has a magnificent Super King size four-poster bed. 

It has its own sitting area and a small desk

This room has a full en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower.

French windows lead to its own private terrace with a cushioned bench, a fountain and cosy seating.

The views from here extend over the mature woodlands.

Closer to the hall are two more bedrooms. One is a room with a King size double bed. This room has access to the terrace.

The second room offers King size twin beds.

These two rooms share a full shower room and W.C. which is accessed from the hallway.

All rooms are carefully decorated. They all have spacious wardrobes.

All the linen and towels are from the White Company in London. In each bedroom White Company robes and slippers are available.

Upon arrival you will find new White Company soaps and bath oil in each bathroom. These will be changed when needed during your stay. Hairdryers are available in each bathroom.

The second house at El Ventorillo is Las Encinas. It is slightly smaller than the main house and its decoration is stylish, though somewhat less elaborate.

The open plan living-dining room is located to the left of the central entrance hall. It has an impressive curved wood beamed ceiling and comfortable sofas, wonderful fabrics, splendid antiques, Moroccan lamps and lovely paintings..
 

Las Encinas does have a flat screen satellite TV and a DVD / CD player.

The dining area, easily seating six, is set to the other end of the room.

To the other side of the entrance hall it leads through to a compact but fully equipped kitchen.

Both the kitchen and salon open onto a private, walled patio garden, fragrant with flowers, lemon trees and jasmine.

A wonderful place for outdoor dining. It has is typical Moorish fountain, with the soft sound of water drops.

To the other side of the entrance hall a corridor leads to the three bedrooms.

Two have gorgeous four poster King size double beds; the other one has King size twin beds.

Two bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms in Moorish style. The third has a large bathroom with walk-in shower.

If you are looking for some exercise, there is a ping pong table on the pool terrace for you and, set beautifully in the trees some 200 metres from the house, a full size all-weather tennis court. Racquets and balls are available.
