| Many guests have found it helpful to talk through plans for their visit when making a booking with us, so we can help pre-arrange what they would like to do before they arrive. Location: The house is located in a valley close to Ronda. It is one hour to Jerez airport, one and a half hours to the airports of Malaga and Seville. |
|
|
| Surroundings: Ronda is famous for it’s spectacular Puente Nuevo that spans the deep canyon that divides Ronda’s old and ‘new’ quarters, and there are Moorish palaces, Renaissance mansions and Andalusia’s best preserved Arab baths. You can easily make visits to Jerez, Seville, Granada, a trip to Morocco, to the coast or nearby lakes, or to the famous pueblos blancos (white villages) in the area. The staff can organise walks and picnics, riding, skiing, paragliding, hot air ballooning, tennis, golf, and a host of other things. There are many spectator events from visiting a bull breeding farm, going to a poncho factory, watching olive oil being pressed, visiting a local bodega or having a flamenco evening arranged at the house itself. The staff can show you the good restaurants and tapas bars to eat in - including the exceptional Tragabuches restaurant. They are able to tell you what is going on in the annual Andalucian diary – from the Feria de Pedro Romero with its bullfights in Ronda in September, to the annual crossing of the Guadalquivir river, and much more. |
