| This romantic country house nestling within a wooded hillside of wild olives and Spanish oaks is located on a farm just 7 kilometers from the whitewashed village of Gaucin. From here it is only a 45 minute drive from the coast. It is quiet and secluded, yet conveniently close to all amenities. |

| This country house has been built in the traditional Andalusian style, with many characteristic authentic details. The house is built to face two different directions, such as to offer the best sitting areas and views for both morning and evening. It offers spectacular views over the valley towards Gibraltar and the Rif mountains of Morocco. |

| The beautifully landscaped garden has paths leading to many hidden places. One of them leads you to the pool area. Natural rock forms are a unique feature of the swimming pool area. The pool is surrounded by mature trees, offering lots of shade for the warm days. |

| The flowering bushes and plants, and the intimacy of this pool make this a great place to relax. Scattered throughout the garden you will find many lovely places to enjoy the amazing views. |

| To the right of the entrance hall is a cloakroom. Further down you get to the fabulous drawing room with high ceilings and a Minstrel's gallery. It is spacious and airy, yet warm and comfortable with high beamed ceilings. Two sets of double doors lead to a lovely shaded terrace. |

| At the far end of the drawing room is a romantic bedroom with a double bed. Upon request the bed can be split for two singles. It has its own bathroom and double doors opening to its private terrace. |

| To the left of the entrance is the spacious open plan kitchen with a dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped, and has many eye-catching details, like the antique sink or the amazing antique fridge that is still working perfectly. |

| It has double doors opening onto a large covered terrace with a long table which seats eight. This is a lovely place to have a meal al fresco, on a warm summer day as well as a cooler autumn night. |

| At the far end of the kitchen, a hallway leads to two more double bedrooms. One has a double bed, its own sitting room and an en-suite bathroom with shower. The other one has two single beds and a full bathroom next door. All rooms are comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated with many antiques and artifacts. |

| From its terrace you will have great views over the valley up Gibraltar and the riff mountains of Africa. |

| Los Acebuches is a welcoming home away from home. It is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings, or from which to explore the area’s many historical sites, the lovely white villages, the abundance of local restaurants and tapaz bars, or to go walking in the Natural Parks. |

| Location: Los Acebuches lies at 7 kilometers from the whitewashed village of Gaucin. Gaucin has all important facilities. It is 90 minutes to the airport of Malaga, and 45 minutes to the beaches of the Mediterranean coast. |

| Surroundings: Gaucin is a spectacularly beautiful mountain village commanding sweeping views to Gibraltar and the Rif mountains of north Africa. Its magnificent castle dates from the time of the Roman settlement, and was later expanded by the Arabs into a fortress. There are numerous remains of ancient civilizations in the area. Within a 2 hour drive are Seville, Granada and Cordoba. At an easy drive from Los Acebuches are many famous beaches and golf courses. |
