Finca La Canada
On a gorgeous elevated location overlooking a lush valley near the whitewashed village Casarabonela Finca La Canada is situated. Here you have the best of both worlds: a lovely peaceful location with lots of privacy in real inland Andalucía, and yet it is only half an hour drive to the many beautiful beaches if the Mediterranean coast. A heavenly location to cocoon and relax.

| Finca la Cañada is located at the foot of the Sierra Prieta, a Unesco biosphere reserve, at approximately half an hour drive from Malaga. From the house and its terraces you have fabulous views over the valley of the Guadalhorce up to Malaga and the Mediterranean. |

| Finca la Cañada is situated on 37.000 m2 own grounds, thus your privacy is absolutely guaranteed. The slope around the house is an old olive yard, dotted with cork oaks and fig trees. Around the house a lovely garden has been created on broad terraces, with many colourful flowers and subtropical plants. |

| Large steps made in natural rock lead to the good sized private pool (5 x 10 m, up to 2,30 m depth). The lovely pool area is surrounded by flowerbeds with colourful Mediterranean plants, a lawn, and some olive trees and palm trees. The lawn next to the pool is a great place to relax,as are the terraces. There is plenty of garden furniture and there are comfortable sun loungers. |

| To all sides of the house the owners have created cosy spots were you can lounge around. Thus you can always choose whether you would like to be out in the warm sun, or rather in the cooler shade. Even directly next to the front door you will find a cosy corner. |

| To the side of the house is a large terrace with a dining table, easily seating four. From here you have a great view over the valley. This terrace is also bordered by many colourful flowering bushes and plants. Apart from the large trees, a big sail ensures a lovely shade. |

| The living area was cleverly created on the first Floor. Thus you can enjoy the amazing views to the max. The living area tastefully decorated. All is bright an airy, yet in warm colour settings. It has a romantic open fire for the cooler evenings. The central heating and open fire make this house perfect for winter breaks too. |

| The couch in the living area is comfortable. The house has satellite TV. It has a dining table seating four guests. The whole First Floor with the living-, dining -and kitchen area is open and connected, thus enhancing the feeling of space. This is even accentuated by the high ceiling. Due to the high ceilings in summer the house is quite cool. |

| The open plan kitchen offers all that you need. It has a 4 ring ceramic hob, electric oven with grill, dishwasher, washing machine, coffeemaker etc. All is practically new and of good quality. |

| A practical detail: the First Floor has a spacious separate toilet. |

| Downstairs you will find two large bright bedrooms. The decoration definitely has a Moorish touch. Both rooms have a large double bed (2x2m) with very good mattresses. |

| Both bedroom shave their own en-suite bathroom with basin, bath with shower over and toilet. And again the materials used are of excellent quality and the overall impression is very stylish. In all Finca la Canada is a great place to get away from it all. |

| Location: Finca La Canada is situated down a secluded rural track at a ten minutes drive from the village of Casarabonela. It is a 40 minutes drive to Malaga airport. Casarabonela is a whitewashed village that retains all the charm of a traditional Moorish village. You can find all that you need in the shops in Casarabonela and there are plenty of places to eat tapas and good local food. Surrounding area: Several totally unspoilt beaches are approximately half an hour drive, in the Malaga area. You will find many fantastic beachside fish restaurants to choose from. Also the old town of Malaga is really worthwhile. The covered market and the Picasso museum are wonderful. |

| If you like to visit Marbella or Puerto Banus: those are less than an hour drive. There are a number of golf courses on the coast. Many other activities are at hand, like walking, riding, swimming, canoeing, aquaparks or quad biking. You can easily make visits to other Pueblos Blancos (white villages) nearby and have a taste of the cultural heritage of the area. The extensive Natural Parks in the area vary from lovely valleys to rough rocky mountains, just now and then dotted with some picturesque white villages. Lovely are the Lakes of El Chorro, only half an hour drive. |
