Just below the spectacular white village of Gaucin the extensive grounds of El Nobo are located, a magnificent property.

Next to the main house of El Nobo, lies the cottage La Bumba.

Though rather close to the main house, La Bumba is completely out of sight and offers complete privacy.

La Bumba is superbly appointed and extremely comfortable. It is definitely secluded, but in no way isolated.

It is within easy walking distance of the village and close to some of the best beaches in Europe, golf courses and general amenities.

The beautiful mountainous countryside can be explored on foot or horseback with little disturbance except for a herd of sheep or goats. 

The cottage with a spacious living area is a little suntrap. Light pours in on two sides with French doors leading out to the south facing balcony on one side and the west facing terrace and plunge pool on the other.

The interior decoration is charming.

The pale washed terracotta walls with soft blue grey beamed ceiling form the main living area and include a fireplace surrounded by seating, a pine corner cupboard and Moroccan rugs on the terracotta floor.There is a satellite TV and CD Player.

The kitchen area at one end with fridge hob and oven is fully equipped.

The entrance hall/study with Moroccan convertible sofa for occasional use, leads to the bathroom with walls washed in cobalt blue.

The bath has a reading ledge and light and there is a separate shower.

Stairs lead up to an open balcony.

Here a cosy low ceiling bedroom is awaiting you.

It has convertible twin or double beds.

The plunge pool is equipped with high power water jets.

It is situated between the south and west terraces. This is a lovely place to cool off and relax.

Guests of La Bumba are welcome to use the main swimming pool, the all weather tennis court and the outside Jacuzzi.

A welcome hamper is included and food for the first day can be ordered in advance.

La Bumba is within walking distance from the white village of Gaucin. Gaucin has all amenities.

It is 90 minutes to Malaga airport, and less than 30 minutes to the beaches of the Mediterranean coast.

Gaucin is a spectacularly beautiful mountain village commanding sweeping views to Gibraltar and the Rif mountains of north Africa.

Its magnificent castle dates from the time of the Roman settlement, and was later expanded by the Arabs into a fortress. There are numerous remains of ancient civilizations in the area.

Within a 2 hour drive are Seville, Granada and Cordoba. An easy drive away from La Bumba are many famous beaches and golf courses.
