Los Dos Pajaros

Almost at the top of a whitewashed village near Ronda lies the charming property Los Dos Pájaros. It grabs an incredible view to Grazalema Natural Park. The property has been decorated with great sensitivity and an eye to detail, as shown by the outdoor tub with seating on the terrace, that enables you to relax and cool off with a drink, while you enjoy the view.

Los Dos Pájaros is a friendly house in a friendly village.  It is built with great care, fitting in perfectly with the village and the nature surrounding it. To enjoy the views to the max, both the living area and terrace have been created on the second floor. The spacious terrace with attractive planted area offers great views over the distant mountains of Park Comfortable seating and sun beds are provided.
The terrace is partly covered, thus offering shade for the second dining area for al fresco dining during the heat of the day.

The cosy corner is pleasantly cool during the heat of the day.

A refreshing surprise is the small outdoor tub in a slightly hidden part of the terrace, with shower and seating - a perfect place for two to cool off with a drink!

A curved staircase leads to the upper landing with archways leading to a fully fitted kitchen with gas cooker, fridge and microwave, and to a spacious living room.

There is an additional cloakroom on this floor, which also houses a washing machine.

Los dos Pájaros has been designed to take full advantage of the natural terrain.

 

The living area was created by cutting into the mountain and features a unique rock wall with a natural cave.

It is here you will find Los dos Pájaros - the two birds.

The living area is spacious and airy. There is comfortable seating.

The property offers satellite TV, a DVD player and a mini hi-fi system.

There is a wood burning stove for colder months, backed up by eco wall heaters.

There is a dining table to seat six. A lovely place to dine with a view over the terrace to the distant mountains.

However: you will probably mostly choose to eat outside, due to the extremely mild micro-climate.

The house is entered through an arched hallway leading to two bedrooms and to the curved staircase.

There is a spacious double bedroom and a twin bedded one.

Both have built in dressing areas.

All is fresh and airy.

The house is situated in a friendly white washed village with lots of flowers and water all over the place.

The people in this village are extremely friendly, and the bakery is close to the houses, as are two small supermarkets. There are a few restaurants/tapaz bars, and many more in Ronda.

Location:

Los dos Pájaros is situated in a small village where you can find the basic facilities. From Ronda it is about 15 minutes by car to Los Dos Pájaros. Ronda has all facilities. It is 90 minutes to the airport of Malaga or Seville and less than 60 minutes to the beaches of the Mediterranean coast.

Surroundings:

Apart from the truly stunning scenery around Ronda (Serrania de Ronda, Sierra de las Nieves, Park of Grazalema, Zahara lake etc.), there are numerous remains of ancient civilizations in the area, including some of Europe’s most beautiful cave painting in the Cueva de la Pileta. Ronda’s spectacular Puente Nuevo spans the deep canyon that divides Ronda’s old and ‘new’ quarters, and there are Moorish palaces, Renaissance mansions and Andalusia’s best preserved Arab baths. Within a 2 hour drive are Seville, Granada and Cordoba. And close to Ronda are a series of enchanting ‘white villages’ clinging to spectacular mountain locations. An easy drive away from Los Dos Pájaros are good beaches and golf courses. Even a day trip to Morocco is possible from Tarifa on the Fast Ferry, which crosses the Strait in just 40 minutes.
