Alcaidesa means sun, sea and golf in a very peaceful setting. A quiet area close to the busy upscale areas of the Costa del Sol.

The apartment is surrounded by lush communal gardens and has a large swimming pool with ample loungers.

Direct at the at the golf course and the beach, yet close to many interesting historical sites of Andalusia.

The landing opens to the dining area, easily seating four guests. To your right you find the airy living area, with a comfortable couch and armchairs.

The living room has sliding doors opening to the spacious private terrace.

At the terrace you will find a large dining table, seating four, to enable you to dine al fresco with stunning views to the sea, the rock of Gibraltar and at  a clear day even to the Riff mountains of Africa.

From the terrace you walk straight into the garden.

From the landing to the left is the fully fitted kitchen, with brand new Siemens kitchen appliances; and an extra utility room with among others a washing machine, board and iron.

The large double bedroom has a built in wardrobe and bedside cabinets.

This bedroom has sliding doors that open onto the terrace.

The en-suite bathroom is fully tiled with marble tiles and Jacuzzi bath, with over head shower,  toilet, bidet and hand basin.

The second bedroom has twin beds that also can be made as a double. It has a built in wardrobe.

Next to this room is a second bathroom, also fully tiled with marble tiles, with bath with overhead shower, basin, toilet and bidet.

The apartment has underground parking and 24h security.

The beach is sandy, very long ( app. 5 km) and well  kept.  Even in the summer months it is never crowded. Outside the summer months, you will be almost the only one on the beach.

Whereas Alcaidesa is nowadays famous for its links golf course, it is a perfect place to go with your family too, because of the climate, the pools, the beach and the many activities for children in the area, like Bahia Aqua Park in Algeciras, the Selwo Nature & Safari Park near Estepona and 'Funny Beach' near Marbella.

There are 2  golf courses around the complex: one is the only links golf course in the south of Spain. The Clubhouse provides excellent practice, changing and restaurant facilities. Both courses have very reasonable fees.

Alcaidesa attracts many golfers from the area too, even though you will find 40+ golf courses in the direct surrounding, among which the famous courses of San Roque, Sotogrande, Valderrama.

Location:

Alcaidesa is a small town at the beach  between La Linea and San Roque in Andalusia, at the very south end of Spain. It is located at just a few kilometres north east of Gibraltar on the Mediterranean Coast. The climate is extremely mild, enabling you year round  to have a stay at the quiet sandy beach, play golf or relax at the pool. During the summer months bars and restaurants open at the beach.

Surroundings:

At a few kilometres are Gibraltar, San Roque en Sotogrande. A bit further west is famous Tarifa, the ‘surfer’s paradise’, where you can go whale watching . For some glamour it is an easy drive to Sotogrande, Puerto Banus and Marbella. In the marinas you can arrange for fishing or any kind of water sports. Morocco is only 30 minutes by boat, from Algeciras or Tarifa. The area is also famous for its horse riding facilities. Even polo lessons are possible in Sotogrande during the summer season. Shopping is only 5 minutes by car to Sotogrande. Here you will find a large supermarket and a shopping arcade. Inland are the pueblos blancos, e.g.  Casares, Gaucin, Ronda. The village is surrounded by stunning nature, and near by is the Alcornocales Natural Park.
