This is a very secluded place;  it is only a at fifteen minutes drive from the nearest village though.

From the house stairs lead down to the huge pool.

From the pool area you have breathtaking views over the lake to the Grazalema Natural Park behind it.

Two large umbrellas provide shade, the rest of the terrace is perfect for sun bathing.

To the other side of the house you will find a lovely covered terrace with built in barbecue and another dining table and chairs for al fresco dining.

From here you have a gorgeous view over the lake to the hill at the other end, with the lovely village of Zahara and its ancient castle on top.

The lake is amazingly beautiful, and the constant changes with the  light of the day are fascinating. Also in the evening the view is breathtaking.

The location is very  private and peaceful. This is an ideal base for day trips to places like Ronda, Granada, and Seville.

The living/dining room has comfortable couches and an open fireplace.

The house has full central heating. The TV has international Satellite. There is also a CD-player.

The room has large windows, offering great views on the lake.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with four ring hob, microwave and refrigerator-freezer.

This fabulous country house is situated app. 30 minutes from the famous town of Ronda. Ronda has all facilities.

For the last 3 kilometres it is reached by car on an unmade track. The track is steep and rough in places but normally perfectly passable. During the summer a standard rental car with good ground clearance usually does the job, until May and after September a 4x4 is required.

At a fifteen minutes drive is the friendly whitewashed village of El Gastor, with some small local shops and restaurants. It is one and a half hour drive to the airports of Jerez and Seville, and two hours to the airport of Malaga.
