Las Adelfas is located at the edge of the lovely whitewashed village of Arriate.

It has the atmosphere of a secluded house in the campo, yet it is just a five minutes walk to the local square with some bars and restaurants. The historic town of Ronda is at only ten minutes by car.

The house is newly built in an utterly romantic Moorish style. It offers all the charm of an Andalusian country home, yet offers all modern amenities.

Las Adelfas has many special features like cupolas in the entrance hall, study and en-suite bathroom of the master bedroom.

The house is surrounded by a wonderful garden. Your eyes will be seduced by the colours of the rich bougainvillea and geraniums, your nose by the scent of jasmine and lavender.

In the gardens many straight lines have been used, with formal blocks.

In spite of the variety in colours and forms, it all breathes complete quiet and peace.

Of true beauty is the Moorish fountain to the side of the house.

There are lovely quiet seating areas scattered around the grounds.

The house has a generously sized swimming pool (12x5.5 metres).

The pool has a shallow paddling section with large steps leading in, ideal for children.

The pool is completely surrounded by a well maintained lawn.

There are plenty of sun loungers.

There is a large pool house offering additional shade to the shade from the trees at the edge of the pool.

It has a sink and fitted barbeque. It offers a cosy sitting area and dining facilities for eight.

At the back of the house is a small lake with walking bridge bordered by many flowering plants.

The elevated position of the house provides great views of the surrounding countryside.

Las Adelfas is a very private place that is not overlooked.

The Arriate Tajo (cliff) lies at the end of the garden, a beautiful place for a walk.

An archway leads through to the dining room.

The dining room has a round table that can seat up to eight guests.

It offers a hob, oven, microwave and fridge/freezer. It has a small pantry alongside.

In a small laundry room outside of the main building you will find a washing machine.

On the ground floor are three bedrooms.

The first is the master bedroom.

It has a double bed and luxurious en-suite bathroom.

It is a wonderful place to relax at the pool and enjoy the house and its gardens, or to use the house as a base from where to explore this interesting region of Andalucia with the many interesting historical sites and Natural Parks.

Location:

Las Adelfas is situated at the edge of Arriate, 10 minutes by car from Ronda. It is 90 minutes to the airports of Malaga, Jerez or Seville and less than 60 minutes to the beaches of the Mediterranean coast.		 LAS ADELFAS perfect holiday home in Serrania de Ronda

Surroundings:
Apart from the truly stunning scenery around Ronda (Serrania de Ronda, Sierra de las Nieves, Park of Grazalema, Zahara lake etc.), there are numerous remains of ancient civilizations in the area, including some of Europe’s most beautiful cave painting in the Cueva de la Pileta.

Ronda’s spectacular Puente Nuevo spans the deep canyon that divides Ronda’s old and ‘new’ quarters, and there are Moorish palaces, Renaissance mansions and Andalusia’s best preserved Arab baths.

Within a 2 hour drive are Seville, Granada and Cordoba. And close to Ronda are a series of enchanting ‘white villages’ clinging to spectacular mountain locations. An easy drive away from La Casita are good beaches and golf courses. Even a day trip to Morocco is possible from Tarifa on the Fast Ferry, which crosses the Strait in just 40 minutes.
