Los Olivos provides you with a perfect mixture of peace and quiet on the one hand, and having an interesting and lively city nearby at the other hand.

Los Olivos is a guesthouse from a larger house located next to it. The owners occupy the main house.

There is another guest house on the property, La Cancela, which can be rented either separate or together with Los Olivos.

The villa is completely self-contained, with its own entrance, private garden, swimming pool and terrace. The size of the land and the trees surrounding it guarantee total privacy. 

The lawned garden is well maintained, with many colourful plants and Mediterranean trees. It is a peaceful location although there is a small gauge railway line which runs adjacent to the estate and has an infrequent service.

On one side you have great views on the mountains of Grazalema Natural Park, on the other you overlook the garden and pool area.

The house is spacious and comfortably furnished. The large sitting/dining room, with its central heating and wood burner, has comfortable couches.

A pleasant place to enjoy a colder evening together. This is a gorgeous place for visits throughout the year.

There is a music system, TV and VCR plus large video and DVD library on request.

The dining table seats eight or more in the dining area inside.

The kitchen is extremely well equipped, with four-ring cooker, fridge, microwave, dish washer and washing machine. Here you will find everything you need and much more than that….

French doors are opening to the covered dining terrace and then to the garden, to enable you to have a relaxed dinner al fresco, enjoying the fragrant warm andalusian nights, gazing at the billions of stars in the sky.

When one is not exploring the many interesting cultural and scenic sites nearby then simply relaxing in the garden at Los Olivos is the prefect antidote to the stress and pressures of home.

Olive trees and colourful plants create a most attractive garden in which to soak up the heat of the Mediterranean sunshine and when the heat gets too much then one can jump into the beautifully landscaped swimming pool for refreshment.

There is a pool house with barbecue and covered terrace providing another venue for outside dining in the evenings.

Garden and pool maintenance are included.

With three double bedrooms Los Olivos is ideal for a small group of friends or a family. The bedrooms are tastefully furnished, creating an atmosphere of comfort and warmth.

The master bedroom has a king size double bed. There is an en-suite shower room with spacious shower.

The two other bedrooms are twin bedrooms, both  with their own en-suite shower room.

For colder winter nights, electric blankets and duvets are available on each bed. All rooms have overhead fans. Maid service is included two times a week for two hours.

The house manager provides a luxury welcome hamper which includes wine, beer, fruit juice and everything you need for a delicious breakfast in the fridge. If you like she can arrange for a home-cooking dinner upon arrival.

She will meet you when you arrive. She speaks English and Spanish and can answer all your questions regarding the house and the Ronda area.

Location:

From Ronda it is less then 10 minutes by car to Los Olivos. Ronda has all facilities. It is 90 minutes to the airport of Malaga or Seville and less than 60 minutes to the beach of Marbella.

Surroundings:

Apart from the spectacular countryside near Ronda (Serrania de Ronda, Sierra de las Nieves, Park of Grazalema, Zahara lake etc.), you will find many interesting remains of old cultures in the area.

In Ronda, the spectacular Puente Nuevo, crossing the deep canyon that splits Ronda into the old and “new” part, but also Moorish palaces and the famous Arab baths.

Within 2 hours you can visit the famous cities of Seville, Granada and Cordoba. Also around Ronda there are the “white villages”. Old Moorish villages nestled in the mountains on strategic locations. In the direction of Marbella or Gibraltar you can find numerous beaches for everybody’s taste, golf courses and even a day’s visit to Morocco is possible.
