The whole house has central heating, ensuring a comfortable stay in winter as well as in summer. In summer the house normally stays rather cool. In case you might wish to use the air-conditioning that is possible at a surcharge. It has satellite TV and wireless broadband internet access. The owners have collected antiques and arty crafts from all over Spain and Morocco to re-create the authentic feeling of this old cortijo.
The furniture and all the doors in the house are antique or made of antique wood.

From the dining area a door leads to the well equipped typical Andalusian kitchen. It has many romantic genuine features like the old sink, combined however with all modern appliances you might need. It has a ceramic hob, oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Next door is a laundry room with washing machine.

Up the stairs in the house you will find two pleasantly spacious double bedrooms. These both have balmy, romantic colour settings, and will surprise you with many lovely details.

Downstairs are two good sized twin bedrooms. All bedrooms are fully en-suite, with lavatory, toilet and some of them bidet. The two upstairs bathrooms have baths with shower over, the other ones have showers only.

In the annexe of the house you will find a fifth double bedroom. It has its own bathroom. All bedrooms have great views; some over the garden and the pool area, others over the vineyard or to the distant mountains.

Casa de los Dolores is a wonderful place to either put your feet up or just relax at the pool, or to go out and get a flavour of some of the historic sights and stunning countryside of Andalucia. Near this villa but not disturbing is a small gauge railway line which has an infrequent service.
