Through the main entrance of the house you arrive in the hall. From there a door leads one way to the kitchen, the living room is ahead, and the bedrooms are the other way.

An enormous natural stone table offers a brilliant spot for an al fresco dinner.
You will be amazed by lovely details like the stone tables on the terrace. These were hewn by hand from the nearby stone quarries at Casares. The stone is biscuit coloured sandstone with a most attractive natural grey inlay, left in its own natural shape and colours.
Being immensely heavy it needed 10 men to lift the big table into place.

Downstairs are two large double bedrooms and bathrooms. The master bedroom at the far end has an en-suite bathroom with large bath and walk-in shower, and it has a dressing room.

The owners have brought many art and artefacts from their travels all over the world. There are batiks from Sri Lanka and a cotton bed cover with appliquéd geometric pattern from Indian designer Warris Vianni in London. The triangle poufs are day beds that the owners have brought from Thailand.

Stairs lead up from the hall to a gallery. You first come to an office with a sofa bed on the upper mezzanine. Further down the first floor passage is the third double bedroom of the main house with its own bathroom.

To the right of the main house, connected by a walled patio, is the Casita. For larger parties the Casita, offers additional bedrooms and pleasant living space. If you do not need the Casita it will stay empty; it is only rented out in combination with the main house, not separately.
The authentic Casita has recently been totally renovated in exactly the same wonderful style as the main house. It has a cosy living area with a chimney and a terrace with the same divine views as the main house. It has full central heating.

Going around the terraces you will find two Mosaics. One on the wall of the Casita is “ In memory of Captain Charles Coke, Sailor, Bold Traveller and Painter”, who gave the land to the current owners. The second mosaic, which incorporates a fountain, is a copy of a Sea Horse from an original mosaic at Pompeii.

Finca los Almendrillos is a comfortable retreat for a family or group of friends, and is also very comfortable for smaller groups or a couple who like to have lots of space and privacy.
